I grew up in California, in a home with a loving mother and father who raised me to know Jesus as my Lord and Savor. I gave my life to Christ when I was very young and wrestled with that all through my teenage years. The church I grew up at did an excellent job of teaching me the Scriptures and how to appropriately handle the Word of truth. I faced many challenges to my faith in my college years in San Francisco. But it was there that God revealed His heart to me for people. God loves people! Paul tells Timothy that God desires all to be saved. No one is beyond His grace and forgiveness! Amen. God is not a fan of wicked deeds, thank God for Jesus.

I ended up married and in ministry at a local church in California and very soon found myself and my new bride moving to Washington. To a place I had never been before and we had no family or friends. We were a part of a church plant and were involved in every aspect of ministry. It was during this time there that my children were born. Nothing reveals your selfish heart like having kids. We were looking to plant a church as well and then, COVID.

Everything shutdown, no one interacted with anyone anymore! For an extroverted person like myself, this was horrible. It was then that I decided to take to the digital mission field. I launched a Twitch channel with some buddies with the aim to “bridge the gap between gamers and the gospel”. We had loads of interactions with people online, made some deep friendships, and saw people give their lives to the Lord.

Coming out of Covid, I accepted the call to pastor a church in Seattle. Focusing on this with all my efforts took me away from the digital realm for a while. As I have begun to settle in, learn the ropes, and develop a team here it has afforded me more time and energy to focus on the digital mission field. Many people are still hiding online and have walked away from the local church. Some of them are playing video games. I have helped several people get plugged in with local churches all across the United States. Being that this mission field is digital it is difficult to get churches on board because it is seen as sending your workers to work in other churches fields. Which is completely bogus, the fields all belong to our master, and He wants more people to go into the field and work!

The non-profit DC4C, which has a page on my website, has many stories as well of getting to share the Gospel with people online. People giving their lives to the Lord, getting plugged in with an online Christian community, and some even with local churches. If you have read this far, thank you for checking out my website. I hope that your passion to pursue people, being fishers of men, is kindled today. If you are interested in joining the game, literally. Please contact me.

“What Little I’ve Learned”

I have been putting together a VLOG on my YouTube channel with things that I have learned in being a pastor for the first time. Subscribe to the YouTube to get regular updates. This website wont be updated as frequently.

“Spiritual Warzone”

These gentlemen that I got to know online were gracious enough to answer a few of my questions. I have come to know them as good friends over the past several months. I pray for them regularly and take the opportunities to invest in their lives, be there for them, and share Jesus.
